Table of Contents
1. PLAN YOUR WEEK ON SUNDAY
My favorite Sunday habit is taking time to plan my week! I want to be able to know generally what I’m going to do for the week.
I personally like creating my goals on Monday, but you could do this on Sunday if you’d like as well!
I use a planner to schedule things out for the week. Any at-home things that I need to do, content I need to get out, client work for the week, whatever you need!
My personal favorite planners have always been Cambridge planners. There’s plenty of tools for me to write down goals that I have for the week in the notes section.
I am not a big fan of smaller planners. I need a bunch of room to write down any goals and to-do lists I have, so Cambridge planners are perfect for work-from-home bloggers who do a lot in the week!

2. MEAL PREP AND GROCERY SHOP
A productive Sunday habit to have is to plan out your meals for the week!
You could do this by;
- grocery shopping
- Cleaning out your fridge and cabinets to see what food you have
- Meal prepping what you can
- Throwing out old food from the week
I am personally terrible at figuring out what I want to eat, and cooking is not my favorite thing to do. So I get Hello Fresh meals delivered to me every week!
If you’ve never heard of this, there are a bunch of services out there like it. You pick out meals you want and every week get them delivered straight to your door
Doing this, or just planning out your meals in advance, will help you eat healthier and save you time!
Ever since doing this, I find I go out to eat a lot less!

3. CLEAN THE HOUSE
Reset your home for the week by giving it a good clean!
No one likes to have a dirty house. And after a week of working hard, you may be slacking a bit on picking things up.
So, start your week off fresh by cleaning up the house a bit!
- Finishing any dishes you have
- Cleaning up your office
- Picking up things in spaces you frequent a lot
This doesn’t mean that you have to deep clean your house every week, you can if you want, but even just tackling the areas you are in a lot, or work in like your office, you can really improve your mood and productivity!

4. TAKE TIME FOR A SELF-CARE SUNDAY
Sunday is a great day for resetting and relaxing after a long week of work. So now maybe it’s time to relax with some self-care!
- Take a shower or bath
- do your skin care routine
- Read a book
- Practice your affirmations
Whatever self-care means to you, do that for the day! Even if self-care for you is eating junk food or binge-watching your favorite Netflix series!

5. REFLECT ON THE PREVIOUS WEEK
Take some time to review your goals for last week and see all you’ve accomplished. You can even begin deciding what you’ll accomplish next week!
This can be a great time to reflect and realize how much you’ve accomplished. Because as we are nose-deep in our work, we may not realize all of the progress that we’ve made!
Sunday can be a great day to really reset yourself, take care of your mind and body, and also get ready for the next week!
I hope you found some things you can include in your Sunday weekly routine and if you want to read more from me, check out some of these posts!
Ah yes, this is great advice. I do very similar things on Sunday, though sometimes they are spread throughout the entire weekend. Meal planning truly makes a huge difference. The one thing I don’t do all that often is reflect on the previous week, but I think I will start doing that going forward.
I tend to skip out on this step a lot myself, but when I do get a chance to look back on everything I did, it makes me feel a lot better moving forward!
