2. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck- Mark Manson
This book gives an interesting take on the positivity of life.
I am the type of person that likes to try and be positive, looking to the better side of things and letting everything work out as it does.
But on the other hand, I feel I am more of a negative person.
And this book plays with the idea that we don’t always have to live a happy, carefree life. Sometimes, life just sucks and we have to deal with it.
3. Self-Love Workbook for Women- Megan Logan
I think this book is awesome because it is a workbook you can follow along with!
Self-love is sometimes the hardest thing for people to embrace. While also embracing who you truly are, and being unapologetically you.
There are many different techniques, quizzes, and exercises in this book to help you in your self-love journey!

I know I’ve already mentioned a book by this author, but she has such good self-help books to improve yourself it’s hard not to mention more of her work!
This book talks about habits that we set. How to set habits we actually want to keep, and then how to act on making those habits a reality.
So often we find ourselves promising to do better in the dead of night to… not actually following through as we hit snooze just one more time when we wake up.
This book will help kick you into gear, out of your old habits, and into a better version of yourself!
5. Get Out of Your Own Way: Overcoming Self-Defeating Behavior- Mark Goulston & Philip Goldberg
This book will help you overcome many bad habits we tend to pick up, like procrastination, inaction, and more.
Not only will it help you get over a lot of things that will affect you in your work life, but also your personal life as well.
You will learn to monitor and overcome self-deprecating behaviors you’ve picked up over the years like fear, anger, and self-pity.
This will help you heal a lot of wounds you have gotten throughout childhood and later, helping them heal and eventually overcoming them!
